Mission is to support, foster, and sustain the advancement of massage therapy, for students and clients.  Human Anatomy Academy prepares students for the Massage and Body Work License Examination (MBLEX). The MBLEX exam is separate from this program. After completing this program, students must pass a background check and the MBLEX and then to apply for a license in the state in which they work.  

Massage therapy is a great pathway for people seeking a rewarding career in a fast growing complementary and integrative health care industry. Currently there is a high demand for massage therapists, great income potential, and flexible hours. Whether it’s personal growth a new career or continuing education , I look forward to traveling down that path together with you. I will provide exceptional instruction and a comfortable learning environment. The results from this course of study will provide you with the tools to guide yourself and others to live healthy, happy, safe, and successful.

All applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent and be physically capable of giving and receiving massage.

Rebecca Bartholomew LMT. BSE. MAE.

Rebecca Bartholomew attended Michigan Technological University 1991. She earned Bachelors of Science mathematics teaching degree. Then she earned a Masters of Education in Guidance Counseling at Northern Michigan University in 2008. Rebecca taught in the Michigan Public Schools for over 25 years. 

In 2015 she attended Marquette School of Therapeutic Massage. Rebecca has been a Massage Therapist, and member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals since 2016.  Practicing massage and teaching massage certification program to prospective therapists has developed into a retirement career.
